Returns & Damage Policy

Every box you carry out of Franklin is inspected and backed. If it left our warehouse damaged or defective, we make it right — free, no restocking fee.

Floorstock is a discount flooring outlet. We pass contractor pricing straight to you — the same floor the pros install, no license required — and part of keeping prices that low is being straight about how returns work.

Our damage inspection guarantee

  • Inspect before you leave. When you pick up in Franklin, open and look over your boxes with us before you load up. Spot a problem, we swap it on the spot.
  • Covered for 24 hours. Find a damaged or defective box at home? Call or email within 24 hours and we'll replace the affected product free.

Unopened boxes: 14-day returns

Ordered a little extra? Unopened, uncut boxes in original condition can be returned within 14 days of pickup for a refund — just bring them back to the Franklin warehouse with your order details.

What we can't take back (and why)

Cut, opened, or installed flooring is non-returnable. Once a box is opened, a plank is cut, or material goes down on a subfloor, it can't go back into sellable inventory — and because flooring is made in dye lots, reselling opened or partial lots is how shade-mismatch problems get passed around. We won't do that to the next customer, and we won't risk it landing on you.

Order smart: build in your own repair kit

Order about 10% extra and keep 1–2 sealed boxes from the same lot. If a plank ever gets damaged down the road, you've got an exact-match repair kit — same color, same dye lot, no guessing.
